How To Build A Frugal Marketing Presentation Part 2
I have started to build my presentation and I’m using Apple Keynote 08 to do it. Keynote is Apple’s version of Powerpoint. I honestly do not know a lot about Powerpoint. I’m self taught exclusively on the Keynote 08 software. I’m sure Powerpoint is a good program but without even knowing I would guess that it’s hard to beat Apple’s Keynote. This is very powerful software that is extremely user-friendly.
I think one of the “coolest” features of Keynote is the ability to export your presentation as a quicktime movie. This option leaves the world at your fingertips as far as your creativity goes. You can import video into your presentation, moving text, transitions etc. You can easily do this with Keynote even if you have no experience editing video.
For my purpose here as I build my frugal presentation, I want to answer some questions that my client will have about me.
Below you can watch the very birth of my presentation. I have converted my work thus far into a quicktime movie. There is no sound in this video preview below. I’m still putting my ideas together but I have a start. Notice that I have a moving cloud background and I move logo’s and text in and out of my presentation. You have to make it interesting for your audience. I have found that movement will capture the attention of your audience. You don’t have to do anything really fancy, just keep their eyes moving and they are usually happy.
